“Aufi auf den Berg” – to the Ramozhütte
- We arrive in Arosa, skis are rented, everything works perfectly, we meet up with the others at the usual parking lot, from where we set off.
- Elisa and Chris have once again done a great job and organized everything so well that everyone knows exactly where, how and what to do.

- Someone has come up with the idea of carrying the heavy drinks and other stuff up on a sledge, which turns out to be not the brightest idea a short time later when the sledge and its contents fall into the stream and a group has to fish all the beers etc. out again.

- The path to the Ramozhütte is beautiful: you always walk slightly uphill far into a valley before finally climbing up to the hut.

- For a while we walk together with Jörg, who tells us: “I’d really like to do a night ski tour – the moon is really bright!” I ask: “What’s the moon like at the moment?” Jörg: “Good.”
- The sun is beating down and the sky is bright blue – you can see the mountain peaks on the horizon and it’s beautiful.

- The only thing that spoils the mood a little is that I’ve got a blister, which I start to really feel halfway through the tour.

- So we arrive at the hut, which is super rustic – with the toilet outside and no water, so we start by collecting and melting lots of snow to get drinking water.
- There’s lumumba and hot chocolate with or without rum – mega!

- We have the classic cheese fondue for dinner, which tastes exquisite as always, and we chat, dance and enjoy the atmosphere – it’s really nice and cozy.

- At a late hour, we try “Fröschli” – peppermint vodka with tea – sounds sketchy, but tastes much better than expected.

Downhill and departure
- First we clean up and pack before splitting up: One group goes to the summit and considers skiing down the other side of the mountain, while we ski straight down into the valley.
- The descent is mega beautiful, the snow perfect and we enjoy the wonderful weather once again.

- We also have a lot of fun and finish off with a lunch consisting of snacks in the valley with a view of the mountains – wow!
